EDI 216: Motor Carrier Shipment Pickup Notification
EDI 216 is the X12 Motor Carrier Shipment Pickup Notification transaction set, used within Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). This transaction set can be used to allow shippers or other interested parties to provide a motor carrier with notification that a shipment is available for pickup. It is not to be used to provide a motor carrier with data relative to a legal bill of lading, rating, pricing, or appointment scheduling.
