EDI 158 is the X12 Tax Jurisdiction Sourcing transaction set, used within Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). This standard can be used to transmit any address, in US Postal Service format, from a wireless telecommunications vendor to the holder of tax jurisdiction sourcing information for the state in which the address resides, and to receive in return a sourcing of all tax jurisdictions which have governance over the address in question.
