EDI 125 is the X12 Multilevel Railcar Load Details transaction set, used within Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). This transaction set can be used by the origin rail carrier or loading contractor to report the departure of a multilevel railcar and its contents to the vehicle manufacturer. It is used by the vehicle manufacturer, origin rail carrier, or loading contractor to forward data pertaining to the loaded railcar and its contents to the destination rail carrier or haulaway carrier(s) or both upon departure.
